CLE and KNEC Holds Consultative Meeting on High School Qualification
Prof. Jack Mwimali, Secretary/CEO of the Council of Legal Education, held a consultative meeting with Dr. David Njengere, MBS, CEO of The Kenya National Examinations Council, at KNEC offices.
The CEOs engaged in discussions regarding high school qualifications, the regulatory aspects of foreign high school certificates and the continuous improvement of these processes.
CLE and KNEC reaffirmed their commitment to working together to strengthen the quality of legal education and training in Kenya.
The meeting was also attended by Mr. Andrew Otieno, Director of Research, Quality Assurance and Planning (KNEC); Ms. Annah Konuche, Director of Standards, Licensing, Supervision and Compliance (CLE); and Mr. Moses Muchiri, Deputy Director of Standards and Licensing (CLE).
This engagement comes as CLE continues to engage stakeholders on the Draft Regulations currently published on the CLE website.
